Long time, no see!

Still on the road - lots to post about when I get back, but for now, it's almost the 1st and we have some exciting new kits with some exciting new exclusives!!!

I love that Lisa used both of this month's Papercrafting Kit exclusive's in her layout here - the clear stamp that includes 3 different label stamps AND the return of our exclusive stencils with this awesome honeycomb stencil . . .

And here's another great layout by Megan Klauer using this month's great papers and another one of the clear label stamps (notice the cute "File Under_________)"!!! . . .

This photo shows the full clear stamp along with a peek at the awesome 1950's pattern book page also included in this month's kit. . . .

This month's Artisian Kit is full of great embellishments like these great Flair buttons from Ormolu and Trinkets from 7gypsies. . .

And finally, this month's Antiquarian Kit is filled to the brim with Ephemera . . .

And this month's Project Kit is a great Mini Album using this cute "Today" chipboard book from October Afternoon . . .

We also have a few great additions to This Month's Finds in the Flea Market section like this neat antique Tobacco Tin. . .

And another vintage camera, cigar boxes and so much more . . .

All available tonight at 12:00 midnight central time!!

New vintage goodies in the morning!!!

Coming to the JBS Mercantile Flea Market at 10:00 a.m. central time tomorrow morning, the 15th . . .

Some more vintage cameras, this time "box" style. . .

Another Old Receipt Holder (always looking for these) . . .

A small type tray for some really small type. . .

A way cool toy typewriter in a way cool color . . .

An amazing notebook from the 1930's full of various lessons in sewing and home economics . . .

Two different old stamp holders including this unique wood and metal desktop version and a double decker spinner. . .

Of course this is just a sampling of more than 20 items!  And have you figured out yet that blog readers get first notice?  We don't send out the official newsletter until after the new items are posted!!

And for those of you curious about the salted caramel milkshake (thanks for the comments!), I would say I mixed about 1 TBSP of caramel to 1 cup of ice cream and just a pinch of sea salt mixed in then another small pinch when I topped the shake with another TBSP of caramel.  You definitely want to start out really light - you can always add, but you can't take it back!

Happy Thursday!

Yum!

Red Robin has a new Salted Caramel Shake on their menu that I've been spending way too much money (and calories!) on lately, so I decided to try my hand at my own version using reduced fat ice cream and skim milk.  And I must say. . . I got it right on!  If you have never tried the combination of sea salt and caramel, you don't know what you're missin!

I'm working on some projects for our upcoming shows and needed a little "fuel".  Hope to have something to share with you soon.

Checking in . . .

I'm finally back in town, albeit temporarily!  Thought I would share a few photos from Texas GASC . . .

First of all, this is a photo of the printer's cabinet I picked up at the flea market just before we left.  I took several drawers with me to Texas and sold out (will be bringing some to the Chantilly GASC with me).  The cabinet itself is really cool.  Still dreaming up what i want to do with that once the drawers are gone.  Maybe add a door??

This was my jewelry display - using the new Hotel Key Holders (now at a store near you or will be available at Mercantile on July 1st).  I'm planning on putting together at least one kit for the VA show that will use these as a base (and will also have available on the site).

I also put together this pinwheel display with all of the JBS goodies I use to make him.  I use skewer sticks to hold them, but I was thinking today that I need to pull out some of the vintage straws I've been collecting as I think they would be perfect for these!

And of course, lots of vintage goodies.  I purchased a huge lot of early billows cameras from a dealer friend at the flea market and should have several of those to continue to bring to the shows and to put up on the site.

And speaking of VA, we will be at GASC in Chantilly, but I am not teaching this year.  I am however offering my Pocket and Tag Album at Scrapdoodles in Fredricksburg on Wednesday June 20th at 6:30 p.m. so come and see me if you are able!

We are also going to be at the Somerset, NJ Scrapbook Expo the weekend of June 29th.  We just added that event since we were already going to be in Maryland/Virginia anyway. The kids are getting an extra week with Nana and their Aunts, Uncles and Cousins so they don't mind a bit.

Happy Wednesday!

JBS Mercantile June Release!

Hello!  Jenni is on the road this week, but she wanted to make sure we shared the latest JBS Mercantile offerings with you!  This month's papercrafting kit features Jenni's latest vintage inspired release, "Wren."  Here is a sampling of what the design team has created.  Check out the Design Team Gallery for more creations!  Here Lisa Dickinson shows that the classic combination of Red, White and Blue with a touch of Red is perfect for just about anything, including her instagramed moments of life.

Betsy Sammarco shows off the red side of "Wren" . . .

While Ranjini Malhotra shows off its blue side.

And here Briana Johnson adds in a heavy dose of vintage flair along with this month's exclusive stamp.

Designer Leah Farquharson put together our Mini-album Kit this month.  We think you're going to be amazed at the results.  ;)

And below you'll see this month's kit offerings . . .
